Production Lines looks at the excessive pressure for women to produce—children, emotional support, work, cooked meals—in order to prove their value. We are constantly judged by what we do for others rather than for who we are on our own. The result becomes communities of caring women, soft and thoughtful, yet overrun with the pressure and anxiety to perform.
